To "maximize the joy of customers," Honda strives to create good products with speed, affordability and low CO2 emissions as it moves towards the year 2020. To maximize this joy of customers through the all-new CRF250L while reaching back to its historical background of off-road models, the development team decided to thoroughly examine the demands of current-day customers from a global standpoint: full-size 250 cc on/off-road models equipped with a styling usually associated with the top-end off-road models admired by every motorcyclist, which also offer easy handling both on and off the road.

As a result, the direction was set to develop a global model fitted with a cutting-edge style embodying the further evolution of design trends for Honda' s off-road models, and which also offers easy-to-handle performance both on the streets and off road. It was decided to bestow this model with the series name "CRF." The CRF series has now evolved into an enriched lineup by adding the CRF250L, which provides a more casual experience to customers who wish to ride these admired machines, to two competition machines shooting for the top, the CRF-R and the CRF-X.

"New On & Off Gear, your right buddy on the road, " to make "On" (daily life) more convenient and "Off" (weekends) more enjoyable!
