An epoch-making bike is born: the Super Cub C100. This first generation Super Cub featured a low-floor backbone frame, large leg shields, an automatic centrifugal clutch 3-speed transmission, and an air-cooled 4-stroke OHV engine.
The Honda CA100 made Honda bikes a part of North American culture. The U.S. model differed from its Japanese counterpart, seating two and lacking turn indicators. This model is featured in the “Nicest People” campaign that was launched the following year.

This model was the first Super Cub equipped with a newly designed engine that realized an astounding fuel economy of 180km/l.
Design changes included a new front cover emblem and stripes, and white side cover matching the leg shield instead of red, and functionality was enhanced with a mechanical fuel meter, among other features.
Due to Brazilian customers considering hand-carrying luggage while riding not to be cool, Honda developed this model with a smaller rear wheel, giving birth to a smart new Cub that retained its performance while increasing stowage capacity.

This model enhanced usability and reduced uncertainty of punctures, equipped with Honda’s original Tuff-up Tube technology, consisting of a dual layer tube injected with anti-puncture fluid.
The headlights, returning to a round design, feature LED lights for the first time in the Super Cub series. This model marries advanced technologies with traditional Super Cub styling, such as its emblem embedded with a logo reminiscent of the original Cub, positioned on the front.
