EU, July 18, 2005 – On Monday, July 18, ASIMO made a guest appearance on Blue Peter, the BBC's flagship children's television program. Whilst in the studio, ASIMO met and even danced with two of the show's presenters, Konnie Huq and Gethin Jones.

ASIMO was on the show as part of its wider role in Europe to inspire and excite the next generation of scientists and engineers. Blue Peter was first broadcast on the BBC in 1958 and is cherished and watched by millions of children and parents in the UK. For its appearance on the show, ASIMO received a coveted Blue Peter badge.
