Honda's all-new City to amaze Thai auto market

Bangkok,
October 30, 2002 --- Honda Automobile (Thailand) Co., Ltd. (HATC) will soon launch the all-new City
in Thailand, showcasing some of Honda's most advanced automobile engineering and
built on Honda's latest global platform.
The all-new City will make its public debut at Honda's pavilion at the Thailand
International Motor Expo 2002, at Impact Convention and Exhibition Center, Muang
Thong Thani, from November 30 to December 10, 2002.
Equipped with the latest 1.5-liter i-DSI (Dual Sequential Ignition) engine, the
all-new City combines excellent driving performance with high fuel efficiency,
low emissions and outstanding value for money.
The all-new City's super-efficient powerplant is mated to Honda's innovative Continuously
Variable Transmission (CVT) for smooth and seamless driving. Complementing Honda
CVT is the Honda Steer-Matic with a 7-speed mode, operated by the fingertips from
the steering wheel, which offers the advantages of manual shifting when desired.
In addition the all-new City will feature Honda's "Ultra Seats" which allow for
a wide range of seat configurations, to maximize utilization of the spacious interior.
Honda's original G-CON (G-force Control) technology is also incorporated, to create
a new body with a world-leading crash safety.
Manufactured to Honda's world-standard quality at HATC's plant in Ayutthaya province,
this new model will also be exported to Japan.
