| Honda to Import Small Generators from China |
Tokyo, July 4, 2001 --- Honda
Motor Co., Ltd. today announced that it will begin importing the EBR2300CX
small generator, manufactured by Honda-Mindong Generator Co., Ltd. (a Honda
joint-venture company located in Fuzhou, Fujian province, China), for sale
at Honda power products dealers nationwide in Japan from July 5th.
With a continuous operating time of over 10 hours1,
the EBR2300CX is an ideal power supply for construction sites and similar
applications. Further, operating noise that is among the lowest in its class
(63dB) also makes it well suited to use in urban and residential settings.
The EBR2300CX also features excellent environmental performance, capable
of meeting the requirements of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's
Phase II emissions regulations and offering fuel economy that is the top
in its class.

Generating Performance
- Powered by a Honda GX160K1 4-stroke OHV engine and fueled by a large 12-liter
fuel tank that is standard equipment, the EBR2300CX offers the kind of continuous
operation capacity-up to 10.5 hours on a full tank of fuel2-sought by users
involved in various types of construction activities and other professional
applications.
- An Automatic Voltage Regulator ensures smooth power output at all times.
Environmental Performance
- Honda 4-stroke OHV engine equipped with a large-capacity muffler generates
less mechanical noise, resulting in quieter operation even with the generator's
open-frame enclosure. Among the quietest-running in its class, the EBR2300CX
is ideal for use at construction sites and other applications in urban and

Storage
