The EN2100 series features the Honda GC160 4-cycle OHC engine, launched in August 1997. Featuring an internal timing belt, the GC160 starts smoothly and runs quietly. Displaying the superior fuel efficiency that is a typical advantage of 4-cycle engines, the GC160 also contains an exceptionally large 10.6-liter fuel tank, providing up to 10.3 hours of continuous operation (JL-model).
