Masaharu Kimura

Joined Honda Motor in 1981. Has since worked on stamping press processes at the Suzuka Factory including collaborative projects for facilities development with Honda Engineering (EG). Served as liaison with EG to support the deployment of the alternating die stamping technology with Topre Tokai.

Takahiro Aki
Staff Engineer, Body Production Engineering Block, Production Engineering Division, Honda Engineering Co., Ltd.
Joined Honda Engineering in 2005. Worked as project leader on die development of alternating die stamping for the N-WGN, and participated in this project from the prototype design phase. Oversaw the project from die design to deployment.

Takuo Kobayashi
Staff Engineer, Production Engineering Division, Honda Engineering Co., Ltd.
Joined Honda Engineering in 1999. Harnessed his experience working to design precision die to undertake detailed analysis related to the alternating die of this project. Determined the cause of stamping press malfunctions and helped to achieve stable operation of the technology for mass production.

Hiroyuki Okunaka
Senior Staff engineer, Body Production Technology Block, Production Engineering Division, Honda Engineering Co., Ltd.
Joined Honda Engineering in 1998. Block leader for the Body Production Technology Block. Played a supporting role assisting the project leader in the deployment of the alternating die stamping and helped to lay the groundwork for the project such by establishing the necessary team.

Teruo Kamada
Senior Staff engineer, Reserch and Deveropment Division, Honda Engineering Co., Ltd.
Joined Honda Engineering in 1983. Involved in the design of various dies. He also devised the concept and mechanism for alternating die cutting to significantly increase the yield for side panel outers, and created a testing method for this.
