※In 1981, Soichiro Honda received the First Class Order of the Sacred Treasure. Sweet Osmanthus evergreen shrubs (the 'prefectural tree' of Shizuoka Prefecture, Soichiro's home and the birthplace of Honda) were planted and named "Trees of Inspiration, Trees of Safety" to commemorate the achievement.

Joined Honda in 1980. Worked in motorcycle manufacturing for 13 years before transferring to the Facilities Management Department. Started working at the Green Factory Promotion Center and in other positions at headquarters in 2002 and later transferred back to Hamamatsu Factory Facilities Management Department. As a member of the factory environmental team, Kamiya currently directs Community Forest and community activities; he is also an ISO coordinator.

Joined Honda in 1973. In his first 25 years, oversaw coating processes and worked to reduce emissions of volatile organic compounds. Was subsequently placed in charge of administration and safety-related tasks, took on environmental management tasks at the Hosoe Factory in 2008, and transferred to the Aoi Plant in April 2012. Currently works as ISO coordinator, driving safety manager, and occupational health manager.

Joined Honda in 2006. Gained experience in transmission assembly for 5 years before transferring to Hamamatsu Factory’s Administration Department. During development of the new Community Forest at Hamamatsu Factory, actively promoted factory tour opportunities to local elementary schools and neighborhood associations, leading to the successful start of tour activities in February 2012.
