Honda is aware of its corporate responsibility for the environmental load generated by all of its corporate activities and the use of its products, and embraces an uncompromising commitment to reducing this and to conserving the environment. To achieve this, it is essential to establish directions and set targets for action on specifically defined issues, while recognizing the environmental load generated by our corporate activities and the use of our products on the global environment.
Recognizing this, our approach is to define specific goals toward which we will work in an effort to resolve the issues that have been identified, by using our concept of life cycle assessment (LCA) to assess and analyze the measurable environmental impact at the present stage.
