While designing the CRF250L, we had an internal survey on which design makes the off-road model unique. Many answered “inverted forks!” Whether forks are inverted or not is supposed to influence the riding feel, but the off-road model has taken on the inverted style as its typical image. So, we treated ourselves to inverted forks which were not initially in the plan. We paid a lot for that. (Laughs)

I have heard that the price of the CRF250L was set below 500,000 yen before development kicked off. Because of that, the CRF250L with inverted forks is all the more a good buy. Yes, all in all, the CRF250L with its inverted forks looks imposing.
