On the assumption that robots
will perform activities in human living spaces in the
near future, Honda has been carrying out research and
development on ASIMO.
In developing ASIMO, Honda aimed for a robot that can
move around freely and carry out tasks easily due to its
compact size, is lightweight and easy to operate. In addition
ASIMO features as a people-friendly design. |
