Recent Honda endeavors in automobile business
Quickly responding to customer needs around the world while enhancing the hybrid lineup

Honda also is focusing on the development, production, and sales of small-sized vehicles. In Japan, Honda launched the N BOX in 2011, the first model of the new mini-vehicle N Series. For Asian markets, Honda introduced the Brio and began production and sales first in Thailand and now also in India. There also is a plan to produce and sell the Brio in Indonesia, where a new automobile production plant is being constructed . Honda has accelerated its initiatives for global production and sales of the Fit (also sold under the name Jazz), now sold in about 115 countries around the world with cumulative sales of 4.33 million units. Construction of a new plant in Mexico with annual production capacity of 200,000 units, started in 2012, with the Fit to be produced mainly for the North American region. The CR-V, which is being sold around the world as an SUV that realizes a combination of car-like riding comfort and exceptional utility, underwent a full model change. And an expanded lineup of hybrids features such models as the Insight, CR-Z, Fit Hybrid, and Fit Shuttle Hybrid.
