Another 14th place for Yoshitaka Atsuta earned him points for the fourth race in a row in the last outing of the season. Joshua Coppins, meanwhile, claimed pole position in qualifying and was leading early on in the race, and despite dropping back to second place was able to defend his second position in the championship. A fifth place finish for Pit Beirer was enough to clinch third position in the title race. In the 500cc class, Andrea Bartolini was 11th across the line and ends his season fifth in the standings.
