Second Place for Coppins,
Seventh Podium in a Row
Atsuta Gains First Points since Comeback |
Having failed to pass the qualifying round of the Swedish Grand Prix last time out,
Yoshitaka Atsuta finally got his first championship points at the Belgian Grand Prix, reaching
the final and finishing in 18th place. In the same race, second-ranked Joshua Coppins took
the checkered flag in second place to clinch his seventh successive podium. Having
marked the top time in qualifying before coming off his machine during the race, Pit Beirer
managed to climb back up to fourth place and defend his third position in the standings.
Meanwhile, Andrea Bartolini remains fifth in the 500cc class standings after taking fifth
place in the final race.
