World Motocross Championship 250cc, Round 14, Austria
Bolley Climbs from Last to 15th after Colliding
and Stalling 4th Place for Bolley in Season Closer, 7th in Standings

Conditions for the race were muddy and slippery due to rain, but Frederic Bolley was able to move into a favorable 5th position on the opening lap. The top riders of each team, Pit Beirer (Yamaha), Michael Pichon (Suzuki), Claudio Federici (Yamaha), Chad Reed (Kawasaki) and Bolley, kept in a tight line without any change in position until the middle stage of the race. Bolley began pushing forward in the second half of the race, but agonizingly missed out on a podium place after taking the checkered flag in 4th place.
