| World Motocross Championship 250cc, Round 11, Germany Bolley Recovers from Two Falls to Finish 6th |

Conditions were difficult and slippery at Round 11 held in Germany. With a 20-inch
front tire fitted to his machine, Frederic Bolley took 5th position in qualifying.
He moved up to 4th place in the early stages of the race, but skidded and fell while
trying to avoid Pit Beirer who had fallen off his Yamaha just ahead. Bolley fell further
back to 14th place after another slip later on, but fought back with a gritty
performance to finish in 6th.
