In 2007, Bou joined the REPSOL MONTESA HRC (now known as the Repsol Honda Team). He showed overwhelming strength to become the champion by winning 9 races, including 5 consecutive wins from the opening race. This year was the first of his 10 consecutive championship titles.

Although losing the opening round for the first time since joining Honda, Bou went on to win 7 of the 11 races. His gravitas as king of the track was especially evident in Round 2, where he won with less than half the demerit points of his nearest rival, Adam Raga (Gas Gas).

As in 2008, Bou was on the podium in every race of the season. The championship title, however, had eluded him as rival Adam Raga (Gas Gas) had also been in strong contention. Bou’s victory was finally cemented on the second day of the final round.

Although having to settle for a 2nd place finish in the opening round, Bou was on a winning streak, with 11 out of 13 victories giving him a lead of 63 points, giving him the title once again, even before the final round.

2013 was the year of change, with the introduction of the No Stop rules, which penalized riders for stopping. Bou nonetheless finished on the podium in every race to successfully defend his title yet again.

The team's name was changed to "Repsol Honda Team,” now a Honda factory team. Bou fought for an unprecedented 8 consecutive world championship titles, which he succeeded in by winning 7 out of 12 races. Bou had finished every race as the winner, or the runner-up.

Bou started 2015 with a double win in Japan, thrilling Japanese fans with his outstanding skills. The season consisted of 18 races (5 more than a usual season) of which Bou won 13, almost twice the number of wins in the previous season.

Bou’s challenge to win 10 consecutive titles began in his home country, Spain. Since winning the season-opener, Bou not once surrendered his points lead, and went on the secure the championship: for the 10th consecutive time.
