A square design with vertically
positioned side windows sets off the car's striking, wide-bodied, low-slung form.

Honda's original fuel cell
system combines a Honda manufactured,
next-generation, high performance stack and DC motor with a next-generation hydrogen
storage system to realize improved response and energy efficiency. An H-shaped
layout for the control unit, ultracapacitor, fuel cell stack, hydrogen storage
unit, and other components creates a low center of gravity, lower overall vehicle
height, and a spacious interior, along with stable synchronized-control 4WD handling
performance.

The interior design is based
on the kind of feeling a Japanese experiences when contemplating
a carefully tended garden, or watching the interplay of light and shadow on
a paper screen.
The KIWAMI's unique aesthetic harmonizes advanced features such as an exterior
information display and panel-touch shifting with a traditional Japanese sensibility
for the ultimate in comfort and hospitality.
