Front engine/rear drive packaging with a behind-the-axle engine layout results in an optimum 50:50 front/rear weight distribution for extremely pleasurable handling.
A "High X-Bone Frame" structure links the front and rear side members to create an X shape for extra-high rigidity and minimal weight.
The six-speed manual transmission maximizes
the high torque and output of the 2.0-liter DOHC VTEC engine. Gear changing is quick and easy via wrist action.

Honda's in-wheel, front and rear double wishbone suspension is compact in size and flexible in settings.
The cockpit is designed to create a oneness between driver and car.
Thanks to Honda e-TECH (ecology-conscious technology), it also runs cleanly, cutting emissions to below half that allowed by Japan's year 2000 regulations.
Honda's original G-Force Control technology achieves world-leading
safety standards. It helps protect drivers, passengers and even pedestrians in the event of a collision.
