In Autumn 1946, in Hamamatsu City, Japan,
Soichiro Honda established the Honda Technical
Research Institute. Three years later the company
introduced its first real bike-the"Dream D-Type."
It was the beginning of Soichiro Honda's
"dream of riding" and the first step in what would
become the "riding of 100 million bikes."
