Honda achieved our 500th victory in the Motorcycle Road Racing World championship Grand Prix (WGP) on April 8, 2001.
It's an unparalleled record in WGP history, marking 40 years since our first victoy on a crudely built cycle. It shows how hard we drive ourselves to win.
"The No. 1 in Japan has no meanings. We're going to be the No. 1 in the world!" when Honda made that vow back in spring 1954, people probably laughed. Just a litle motorcycle company with big dreams.
But we proved the power of Honda in a challenge. Now we're going to prove it all over again. We'll claw our way to victory. Because racing is our passion.
