Styling

Front design

The front design expresses a new character through the combination of distinctively formed lights and garnish while staying true to the identity of successive SH-series models. The headlight is now more compact to be proportional to the body in a design that keeps in mind not only visibility but also the ease of being seen. Furthermore, the "Sh" logo engraved on the bulb hood asserts an unmistakable presence.

The most salient feature of the front portion is a set of position lamps consisting of 4 lenses each emitting its light in a beam. Aiming at a distinctive design to symbolize this model, the development team emphasized not only the form but also the way light is emitted, yielding a strong impression of SH's presence during the nighttime riding with its 4 light beams.
In contrast to the current model whose radiator is placed in front, the new model mounts an engine with built-in radiator.
This change made possible a daring front mask that takes advantage of the greater degree of freedom in the layout. The distinct shape of the horn hole, resembling a pendant, adds to the bike's expressiveness.
The front side cover wraps around from the front to the inner section and hides the parts' joining lines that are usually visible on the cover sides, to provide a side view with a simpler design and greater quality.

Meter design

The instrument panel produces a high quality feel from the rider's view while realizing a visually easy-to–understand layout by distinguishing display-related meters from operation-related switches through use of different main colors.
The meter panel is intended to improve visibility by clustering the display by function, using a large dial speedometer with a sweep mechanism for operating checks placed in the center; various warning lamps on the left and right; and an odometer, trip meter and clock on top.
