On Saturday at Silverstone Kenan Sofuoglu had lost a thrilling battle for pole position to his team-mate Sebastien Charpentier but on Sunday even worse fortune awaited in the race when he ran off the fully-wet track at turn one, fell, and was subsequently forced to retire.
