Honda developed the “New FUNdamental Concept” series models.

Honda has developed the “New FUNdamental Concept” series models. The fully-faired CBR500R takes strong design cues from the CBR1000RR. The naked CB500F has a design inspired by the CB1000R. And the CB500X is the latest addition to Honda’s range of Crossover concept motorcycles. These new middleweight machines are powered by a brand new compact and lightweight parallel twin engine, that offers fun handling, accessible all-round ability and economical running costs.

The engine “eSP” is developed for next-generation 125cc scooters.

The engine“eSP” is developed for nextgeneration 125cc scooters and accommodates an advanced idling stop system for motorcycles. Smooth and remarkably quiet starting has been realized through an electronically-controlled ACG starter, which serves as both a self-starter and a dynamo. Fuel economy is approximately 25%* better than that of conventional engines for scooters with the same displacement.
