Brake System

Taking into account the usage environment and wide variety of roads worldwide, the New Standard Commuter (NSC110) employs a 190-mm disc brake on the front wheel for a linear braking feel and a 130-mm drum brake on the rear wheel to handle even harsh conditions.

A combined brake system (CBS) is included on certain model types.

With CBS, applying the rear brake (left lever) achieves an optimal distribution of braking force on the front and rear wheels for efficient deceleration, while applying the front brake (right lever) invokes a separate braking action on the front wheel.

Note:CBS is a system for brake operation assistance only. Applying the front and rear brakes as needed by surrounding conditions remains a basic principle of braking. CBS is not available for the Indonesian market.
