Nakarin Atiratphuvapat (18th, 38'55.002, +27.638)
“The first race weekend of the Moto3 world championship means a lot to me. I tried my best to catch riders in front of me from the start. In the final few laps, although it was physically very hard, I didn’t give up until the last turn on the last lap. I learned a lot from this race which will help me for the rest of the season.”
Kaito Toba (19th, 38'55.005, +27.641)
“I had to start the race from far back, and the battle in a large group prevented me from keeping the pace up as I had wanted. It’s a shame because my team fine-tuned the bike to very competitive. I will give my best to get good results in the next race in Argentina.”
Tadayuki Okada Team Manager
“Our riders had to start the race from back of the grid, which made it difficult for them to keep up the pace they’ve wanted. I think from this experience they have learned the importance of qualifying well. Also, reaching the checkered flag after intense battles with more experienced rivals gave them good motivation to fight for the championship.”
