Riders of Asia battle on, dreaming of competing in the world-class stage. Azlan Shah Kamaruzaman and Yuki Takahashi, racing for the brand new IDEMITSU Honda Team Asia, will compete with other promising Asian riders such as Takaaki Nakagami (Italtrans Racing Team) in this season's Moto2 class.

Yuki Takahashi

Yuki Takahashi #72
Born in 1984 in Saitama Prefecture, Japan.
In 2004, he reigned as the champion of the GP250 class of the All Japan Road Race Championship, and the following year he raced in the 250cc World Championship. In 2009, he took on the MotoGP class. From 2010, he returned to the Moto2 class and secured one win and made two trips to the winners’ podium in three seasons.
Azlan Shah Kamaruzaman
RIDER (Rounds 13 - )
Azlan Shah Kamaruzaman
Born in 1984 in Malaysia. He raced in the Malaysian Cub Prix Championship (Novice) in 2003 and was placed third in his first Asia Road Racing Championship in 2008. He won the Suzuka 4 Hours Endurance Road Race in 2011 and was placed sixth at the Suzuka 8 Hours in 2013.
Tadayuki Okada
TEAM MANAGER
Tadayuki Okada
Born in 1967 in Ibaraki Prefecture, Japan.
He was the champion in the 250cc class of the All Japan Road Race Championship three years in a row, and placed highly in other races, including second place in the 500cc class of the World Grand Prix. After retiring from racing, he held positions including nationwide team manager of TEAM HRC. From this year he will be leading IDEMITSU Honda Team Asia.
