Hiroki Ono (TSR/Honda) finished 11th in the FIM CEV Moto 3 class in Albacete circuit, Spain. The Japanese Honda Team Asia rider made one mistake at the start, which affected the rest of his race.
Hiroki Ono had a complicated weekend in Albacete, including crashes in Friday free practice and Saturday qualifying. Nevertheless, he managed to classify 4th for the Sunday race.
The Japanese rider made a mistake at the start of the race, arriving at turn 1 far down the field, and although he managed to recover his place and improve his position, it was not enough to fight for the podium.
"I made a mistake which affected the rest of my race. Then I was in a battle with Marini and Cresson, and could not improve my placing because I could not pass them. Now it's time to think about the next race in Navarra.”
Hiroki Ono is third in the overall standings of the FIM CEV with 94 points. The FIM CEV Repsol International Championship takes a two month break, before the next race at Navarra, Spain on September 7.
