Championship points leader Dario Franchitti, a two-time winner here in Toronto, will start third, followed by Mike Conway, winner earlier this year at the Grand Prix of Long Beach street circuit. Graham Rahal qualified fifth, equaling Brazil as his best street/road course qualifying effort this season; and Oriol Servia rounded out the “Fast Six” final-round knockout qualifiers.

Sunday's 85-lap race starts at 2 p.m. EDT, with live television coverage on VERSUS.

Will Power (#6 Team Penske Honda) pole qualifier, 1st Honda Indy Toronto pole, 5th pole of 2011:
“Everyone ran scuffed ‘reds’ [soft compound tires] in the last qualifying session, so there was a little less grip. But I gave it everything I had. It’s such a physical, challenging track - a pure driver’s track - where you’ve really got to wring the car’s neck to get the best out of it. It’s my first pole here in five years of trying, so I’m quite happy about that. It's good to start up front, but there are no guarantees here. There’s always a lot of mayhem and passing here, so [the race is] hard to predict.”
