Team Penske’s Will Power overtook Ryan Hunter-Reay on the 58th circuit of a rain-shortened 61-lap Sao Paulo Indy 300, to win the season-opening round of the 2010 IZOD IndyCar Series.
After trailing Target/Chip Ganassi Racing's Scott Dixon through the first two practice sessions, Team Penske's Will Power emerged at the top of the field during a third, added session to lead the way in Saturday's opening day activities for the Sao Paulo Indy 300, the opening round of the 2010 IZOD IndyCar Series, and the inaugural IndyCar event in Brazil.
