Nebu was involved in Gold Wing development since the GL1100, and has headed development, beginning with the limited edition GL1200 in 1985, which was instrumental in fortifying the Gold Wing series' concept.
  • Part 2 Grand Tourer Concept Creates The World of Gold Wing  Isao Yamanaka Born January, 1945. Joined the Suzuka Factory in Spring, 1963. Assigned as a Chassis Designer at the newly established Asaka R&D Center in 1973. Became Team Leader for the development of the 6-cylinder GL1500 in 1988, taking the Gold Wing to new heights as a grand tourer.
