Design

The most significant design characteristic of the new F6B is the change in the basic form of the Gold Wing GL1800 to have a line that runs as if flowing down from the front to rear, to create a form that is both clean and "long & low." This change culminated in an overall styling that enables the rider to casually ride the motorbike in situations not just limited to touring, but also in a wide range of situations on city streets—a styling that may even allow you to feel the arrival of a new motorbike category.

To the "genes" of the King of Motorcycles embodying the characteristics of majestic, elegant, dynamic and powerful that were built into the Gold Wing GL1800, the Gold Wing F6B now adds "exhilarating." The aim is to use this Gold Wing F6B to create a totally new world not experienced before.

Front cowl shape

The front cowl adopts a boldly cut, short windscreen that gives the rider a refreshing feel, while at the same time securing enough wind protection for relatively short-distance touring rides.
The newly designed mirror and the middle cowl add a sharp and dynamic touch to highlight the model’s unique, intrepid character.

Seat

The seat shape was newly designed to better accommodate more casual riding including riding on city streets and short-distance touring.
The low and comfortable seat shape integrated with the rear area can give the passenger a genuine open feeling like riding in a convertible, in contrast to the feeling imparted by the existing Gold Wing GL1800 of being securely wrapped.

Rear view design

The most prominent characteristic of the Gold Wing F6B that sets it apart from previous Gold Wing models is its low rear view design without a top box. The flat tail cowl, seemingly breaking through from the front toward the rear, gives a liberating feeling and inherits the beautiful design flows of Gold Wing series together with highly practical saddlebags that were also inherited from previous Gold Wing models.
The new, large aluminum grab rails are easy to hold onto, and together with the improved functionality, contribute to a sharper rear view styling combined with a taillight designed exclusively for the Gold Wing F6B.
