Honda participated in the Advanced Safety Vehicle (ASV) project led by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism in Japan, for the research of navigation system, technology using radar and improving pedestrian protection.
Research vehicles are equipped with several advanced safety technologies including Wandering sensing device, ACC(Adaptive Cruise Control) and Pedestrian Injury Mitigation Body.
