ASIMO Walks the Red Carpet for "Robots" Premiere
ASIMO walked the red carpet at the celebrity-packed world premiere of the computer-animated film "Robots" in Los Angeles on Sunday March 6, 2005. ASIMO spent 30 minutes demonstrating advanced capabilities for hundreds of photographers and entertainment industry media.
Several celebrities, including Amanda Bynes, Greg Kinnear, Drew Carey and Jennifer Coolidge posed for photographs with ASIMO. This was the first time a humanoid bipedal robot has ever walked the red carpet at a Hollywood premiere.
