ASIMO performed new technological abilities at the ASIMO: Future Dreams exhibition. ASIMO includes intelligent technology that means he is able to understand the meaning of human gestures and respond accordingly.

During the exhibition, ASIMO performed four times a day, with around 350 guests per time watching his abilities. During the week, many students attended, while at weekends, families brought their children to see the robot.

ASIMO kicked a soccer ball with the children and responded to the natural movements of people in the audience.

At the opening ceremony, the book that has been published in Japan as a result of the ASIMO drawing and painting competition, titled 'The Power of Dreams', was introduced.
