ASIMO welcomes Chancellor Schroeder

On Sunday, 19th April, ASIMO could be seen giving the German Chancellor Gerhardt Schroeder a firm handshake at the opening ceremony for the Hanover Industry Exhibition. Guests were delighted to see the robot and the venue was filled with laughter and applause. Later, ASIMO gave a performance that demonstrated the ongoing developments at Honda, which are intended to benefit society for mankind and ASIMO.
